Please read these Terms of Use and Disclaimers carefully before you start to use the easycover.my application (hereinafter referred to as “the App”) and its services (“Services”). By accessing or using the App and Services, you have assented to the terms and conditions contained herein.

We fully reserve all rights to modify, add, or remove any of these terms at our full and absolute discretion at any time without any prior notice. Unless stated otherwise, any changes to these terms take effect immediately. Please check these terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the App and Services will be deemed your acceptance of the terms and conditions in effect at the time of use. We may change, suspend, discontinue, or restrict access to, the Website without notice or liability.


easycover.my operates as an insurtech platform, serving as a marketplace where users can compare and purchase various insurance and financial solutions from multiple providers.

All content, materials, information, or products provided on the App, including those related to legal, financial, or insurance matters, do not constitute professional advice. Any reliance upon or use of the same is at your sole risk. We encourage users to consult with qualified professionals or legal counsel to determine the most appropriate solutions for their individual needs before using any products or services provided on the App.

The use of our App and/or Services or products does not establish any form of professional-client relationship. We expressly disclaim all liabilities arising from your use of the App and any of its content.


While we strive to maintain accurate and up-to-date information on easycover.my and its associated app, we do not guarantee its correctness, completeness, or quality and are not liable for any inaccuracies or omissions.
  1. Insurance Purchasing, Payment and Claims: Any decisions regarding insurance purchases, including coverage amounts, limits, and deductibles, are solely the responsibility of the user. Claims and any related disputes are to be settled between the insured and the insurance provider, in accordance with the terms stated in the policy. Users are encouraged to review the policy terms and conditions carefully before making any purchase decisions. The App might offer options for in-app purchases of services; opting for these indicates an agreement to pay the stipulated amount for the chosen service. However, it is critical to understand that the purchase of an insurance policy from the chosen insurer through the App does not establish a contractual relationship between you, the insured, and us. The contractual agreement is exclusively between you and the chosen insurer, bound by the outlined terms in the provided insurance policy or takaful certificate. Any payment information required for in-app purchases is processed securely, complying with all applicable laws.
  2. User Responsibilities: Users are responsible for all actions and decisions made through their accounts. We undertake no continuous duty to verify user identities beyond login credentials. It is the user’s responsibility to safeguard their login information and notify us immediately in the case of any unauthorised access.
  3. Liability: easycover.my is not responsible for any losses or damages incurred due to the use of our services. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service, nor can we guarantee the absence of harmful elements such as viruses or other forms of interference.
  4. Service Limitations: Our services may encounter limitations and delays inherent to the internet and electronic communications. We are not liable for any delays, interruptions, damages, or losses resulting from such issues.
  5. Content Updates: easycover.my reserves the right to update content and information on the app as needed.
Users are strongly encouraged to seek professional advice and review all policy or legal documentation provided by the insurance or product providers prior to making any decisions based on the information available on easycover.my.


We hereby grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, and non-exclusive permission to access and use our services, subject to compliance with Malaysian law and the following terms and conditions:
  1. Permitted Uses: You can access and use our services as intended through the provided functionality.
  2. Prohibited Activities:
    • Unauthorised Use: Copying, modifying, distributing, or creating derivative works of the services or content without our written permission.
    • Disruption: Interfering with or disrupting servers or networks connected to our services.
    • Illegal Activities: Using the services for any illegal activities or to violate any applicable laws.
    • Harmful Conduct: Transmitting viruses, spam, or harmful content or interfering with other users’ use of the services.
  3. User Responsibilities:
    • Accurate Information: Providing true, accurate, and complete information.
    • Age and Capacity: Ensuring you meet the legal age requirements and have the capacity to agree to these terms.
    • Secure Credentials: Maintaining the confidentiality of your login information.
    • Legal Compliance: You must adhere to all applicable Malaysian laws and regulations while using our services.
  4. Intellectual Property: All intellectual property rights in the App, encompassing but not limited to text, video, photographs, images, sound, trademarks, and logos, are either owned by easycover.my or are used under license. Using our services does not confer any ownership or rights to this intellectual property, which remains with us and our licensors. No license or right is granted to access or use these assets without our prior written consent, including for downloading, reproducing, copying, modifying, or linking. Unauthorised use, infringement, or establishing links using our trademarks, service marks, or logos may result in legal action.
  5. Termination, Suspension and Modification: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to terminate, suspend, or revoke your access to all or part of the App, and to modify or discontinue our services at any time without notice, particularly in instances where there is a breach of any terms and conditions herein, or a violation of our rights or the rights of any other user or third party.
  6. User Liability: You are responsible for all actions and consequences related to your use of our services under Malaysian Law. We are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from your use or inability to use our services.


To avail of the Service, you need to register and create an account. By doing so, you affirm the following:
  1. Accuracy of Information: All the data and details that you provide to the App upon registration, during the course of using the Service, and at any other instance, are true, accurate, timely, and comprehensive. This includes, but is not limited to, details provided during insurance application or claims processes.
  2. Obligation to Update: You have an ongoing obligation to ensure and verify that the information associated with your account, referred to as your “Account Information”, remains accurate and current at all times.
  3. Account Registration: Creating a user account on our platform is complimentary. However, to be eligible for registration, you must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and possess the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements in accordance with Malaysian law.
  4. Responsibility of Providing Details: It is imperative to furnish valid, precise, and complete personal details during the registration. Maintaining and updating this information to remain accurate and current is solely your responsibility.
  5. Registration on Behalf of Organisations: If registering an account on behalf of an organisation, you must ensure you have the necessary authorisation from the respective organisation and that said organisation is made fully aware of and explicitly agrees to and bound by the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.


We process information about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of your personal data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.


Any link to third party services and websites appear on the App are merely for the purpose of convenience. We do not control the availability and content of those linked sites and services. Any reference made on this App to any third-party information, service, product, hyperlink, reference or otherwise, does not constitute or imply an endorsement or recommendation by us. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any content, nor its merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. You agree that you use third party websites solely at your risk and subject to the terms and conditions of use for such websites. We are not liable for any legal or other consequences that arise out of your visit, reliance or use of content or services.


We do not warrant that any information posted herein could not be intercepted by any party and used for any purpose. Submission of any information is of course at your own risk. We also do not warrant that the App is free from any viruses and cannot be held responsible for any damage which may arise from such use. You, therefore, do not hold us responsible for any damage caused by any viruses which may be transmitted via any form whether from your use of the App or from the e-mail (s) you may receive from this App.


As per the BNM’s Guidelines on Medical and Health Business, you are entitled to cancel such medical and health insurance policy/takaful certificate within a 15 calendar-day free-look period after the date of delivery of the insurance policy or takaful certificate to you.

For life insurance policy/takaful certificate, the paragraph 2 of Schedule 8 of the Financial Services Act 2013/Islamic Financial Services Act 2013 also allows a 15-day cooling-off period after the delivery of a life insurance policy to you. During this window, you can opt to return the policy and any paid premiums will be fully reimbursed to you minus expenses related to any necessary medical examination. We will inform you about this cooling-off period and the relevant procedures when you acquire your policy through us.

For other types of insurance policies or takaful certificates, the presence of a cooling-off period is based on the specific terms of the insurance product or service. It is crucial to recognise that the existence and length of a cooling period are dictated by the stipulations of your insurance policy or takaful certificate as set by the Insurer / Takaful Operator. For this reason, we recommend that you carefully review the terms contained in the insurance policy or takaful certificate before making any purchase.

For matters of refund and cancellation, all written notice must be sent via
Enquiry Form and will thereafter be forwarded to the Insurer / Takaful Operator. The Insurer / Takaful Operator will process the request for cancellation and will be the party responsible for the refund, subject to the final terms and conditions of the insurance policy or takaful certificate issued by your selected the Insurer / Takaful Operator.


Your use of the App is entirely at your own risk. We provide the App and all its contents, materials, information, products, and services on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without any express or implied warranties, representations, or guarantees. We aim to offer accurate insurance information for informational purposes but do not guarantee the completeness or correctness of the information provided. We expressly disclaim all liabilities arising from your use of the App, and you agree that we will not be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary, related to your use of the App and/or its services. In any event where liability cannot be disclaimed, our liability is limited to the amount you’ve paid to us, if any.


Our services are compensated by commissions paid by Insurer(s) / Takaful Operator(s). Thus, by agreeing to purchase any insurance/takaful deal, you acknowledge and consent to us receiving this commission.


You hereby indemnify us, and undertake to keep us indemnified, against any and all losses, damages, costs, liabilities and expenses (including without limitation legal expenses and any amounts paid by us to a third party in settlement of a claim or dispute) incurred or suffered by us and arising directly or indirectly out of your use of the App and Services or any breach by you of any provision of these terms and conditions. Our total liability to you shall be limited to the amount of the commission we receive in respect of the policy that you placed through us.


These Terms and Conditions shall be governed exclusively by the laws of Malaysia. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Malaysia for the purpose of any suit, action or other proceeding arising out of or based upon these Terms and Conditions.


The failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. If any or more of the provisions contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed invalid, unlawful or unenforceable in any respect under any applicable law, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions contained herein shall not in any way be affected or impaired. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
